Fashion, Nature, & North Carolina

I like to research North Carolina American Indian dress (although I am writing my dissertation on this so right now I basically live and breath powwow dress), teach students about fashion and interior design (although teenage girls can be more than challenging at their best), create beautiful things (although right now most of these things are only created in my mind), and being outside in nature away from human beings who annoy me (some human beings annoy me, not all human being annoy me)

In 1910Marc Chagall moved to Paris with his family in order to pursue his artistic career and escape political turmoil in his native Russia. However, Chagall did not speak French and frequently felt alienated in the Parisian art community. He was influenced by the fauvist and cubist movements but the majority of the works he created during this period were nostalgic depictions of shtetl life and Jewish tradition.
